Muscle confusion is not only for men, many women are using it as well with really good results. It is a great way to tone your body and flatten your tummy. If you’re tired of the normal everyday workout routine, you should give muscle confusion and try.


Gym Workout

Having a routine gym workout can be extremely beneficial to your health, and just your everyday way of life. When setting yourself up for a gym workout, it is important to hit the gym with a good plan if you plan on working out your upper body, then stick to your workout gym plan, and work your upper body. You do not want to overwork your muscles and doing entire body workout when all you had originally scheduled herself to do was open workout.

With this in mind, when you hit the gym for your workout, do not just run up to the first machine and start lifting weights. It is a good idea to get your body warmed up first, and stretch your muscles. This will help prevent muscle injury, back injury, and just everyday extra body pains. Stretch each group of muscles that you’re going to workout, before you workout.

A good gym workout, should last you about one hour. Working out any longer than this is just a waste of your time. However this entire hour should be dedicated solely for the workout that you have for yourself to do. If you do not have a good workout routine, it is a good idea to consult one of the personal trainers who work at the gym or you’re working out. Most workout gyms will give you one or two free days with a personal trainer when you sign up for membership. Make sure that you take advantage of the free time they allow with a personal trainer.

Another good tip for a gym workout is, rotate your muscle workouts. Not in the same way as to dealing with lay workouts and rotating to arm workouts or chest workouts. What this means is if you were doing a pulling exercise first, your second exercise should be pushing exercise. This helps keep your muscles from getting too tired, and overworked during your workout.

It is very important to remember a point that we discussed earlier in another article, and that point was that you grow after you workout not during. So basically you are growing outside the gym. We also discussed before how important it is to get enough rest between your workouts so that you can allow your muscles to recover and be prime and ready for your next intense workout.

So now that you know that you don’t gain muscle when you’re in the gym, but you gain it when you leave and recover, make sure to avoid over training your body. There is a very simple, basic rule of thumb to remember. That rule is to wait at least 48 hours between workouts for the same muscle group. So basically working the same muscle group every other day would be okay. If you work your chest today,work your legs tomorrow.

Another good rule of thumb is to go by how your body is feeling, Also known as the soreness rule. Even if ithas been 48 hours after your last workout, and your body is still feeling sore, make sure to let it rest another day. Working out sore muscles will do you no good, and working out sore muscles is a form of over training your muscles. Most people for free weights, but if you always use free weights and try switching it up to training machines. Pretty much all major Texas Gyms have Machine weights, and they are great resistance machines and they really work out your muscles and different angles and different intensities.

Next time you are at your local Texas Gym, try to find new and exciting ways to test your body. Try doing all body weight movements, which are a great way to build quality core strength. Body weight movements are used mainly by the military during their training sessions. Body weight movements include exercises such as push-ups, sit ups, and pull ups. These three main bodyweight movements will really give you a great overall body workout.

If you are a beginner you can try using different forms of training such as work out bands. These are an excellent way to learn basic workout movements and get the true feel of each exercise that you are performing. Trying some other gym exercise equipment such as workout balls, or medicine balls, is an excellent way of switching up your workouts. Workout balls are awesome because they keep you up off the ground, and generally cause less stress to your back. A fun exercise that I like to try on my workout ball is simply getting on it on my knees and trying to balance myself.  Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Try it and you’ll see just how easy it really is not. You will feel the burn in your thighs and in your stomach in no time flat.


Texas Gyms, Muscle Confusion

Another great tip to getting a great body is, to trick your muscles. This process is known as muscle confusion. You may have heard of such exercises through programs such as P90X, which is famous for its muscle confusion tricks, and it’s adventurous workout routines. Not only is doing the same routine over and over boring, but your body gets used to it and learns it.

Once your body learns routine your muscles will stop growing and will adapt, so make sure that you are always switching of your training routines, the amount of reps you do, and the number of sets you do any training. Make sure that during each training session, the train at a high level of intensity and really push your body to its limits. This is known as positive failure, or barely getting the last rep up.

When you feel that you are ready you should try increasing the weight that you are lifting. If your body and muscles get used to lifting the same amount of weight they will never want to get stronger. Remember use different reps and sets, keep the intensity levels up high, and make your muscles change and grow.

Changing your routine daily or weekly works as a positive and more than one way. Doing the same old thing over and over gets boring pretty quickly. So search for new and exciting ways to keep yourself entertained while working out.

The worst thing you can do while training, is overtrain your body. It is important to make sure that you rest for growth! It is important that you know that your muscles grow when you’re resting, not when you are training. It is how you treat your body after your workouts that is the real key to muscle growth.

If you do not let your muscles recover correctly, you will become an overtrained and your body will be constantly playing catch-up. This is not where you want to be! You want to make sure that your body is primed and ready for your next workout. Do this by getting enough rest and time to recuperate, this will fully optimize your training.sleeping

Remember it is important while in the gym do not overtrain your body, I cannot stress this enough. This will actually lead to your muscles breaking down and you may even experience the flu because of this. 45 minutes max, this is the amount of time that you want to train your body and resistance training sessions. Any longer than this and your body testosterone levels start to drop so it is just a waste of time. Instead of a long workout at a high intensity workout for those 45 minutes and you’re done.

A Jacuzzi or a sauna is a great way to relax your muscles and allow them to recover. If you do not have a Jacuzzi or a sauna home, make sure you run out and buy one right now because it is that important! Okay I’m just kidding but it’s nice if you have access to one. Remember rest is extremely important when training hard to take the time to recover.


Texas Gyms, Use your Window of Opportunity

You really have two main windows of opportunity when training. One of those windows is about 30 minutes before you train where you would consume a pre-workout meal. The other window comes about 30 to 60 minutes after your workout is over and this is where you would consume your post workout meal.

Your pre-workout meal should consist of lean protein and starchy carbs. These will supply the energy you need to get through an intense workout. The protein will give you a much-needed fuel for your muscles, and give them a positive nitrogen balance. A great pre-workout meal is a cup of natural oatmeal, consume this with a large glass of water.

The mail you consume after your workout should be consumed fairly quickly after your workout is done, at least within the hour. You need to have a detailed plan of action and know what body part you wish to work, out and if that machine is working out a body part. You also need to know the correct number of repetitions, how much weight to be using, and the correct form while working out.

When you have a great exercise plan, there is no wasted time. You know exactly what you need to do so you can get in and get it done smoothly and in good time. This is where Keeping a journal comes into play, remember to write in it often and change around your daily workout routine to come up with a great game plan to get your body in shape.

Staying mentally focused when training while in a Texas Gym or on a Texas Sidewalk, is an absolute must for success. Everyone nowadays is so busy that it is easy to become sidetracked or distracted from your daily workout routines. It only takes a small distraction to pull you away from your workout routine. Missing only one routine can sometimes can motivate you enough to stop working altogether.

Remember to focus, and keep your training as a priority. There is enough time in the day to get done what you need to get done you just have to schedule it right. Often things that may distract you from routines are your friends, not that they do it on purpose, but including you and their activities may pull you away from your workout. Just remember there is always time to hang out with your friends later.

Once you’ve decided to not let anything distract you from your workouts, investing an MP3 player is a great idea. They are lightweight and small and can fit in your pocket, or on an armband. Selection of the music to play while working out use the time count of the beats to help you with your rhythm. Another great use for an MP3 player is it keeps people from coming up and talking to you while you’re at the gym distracting you from your workout. Remember why you are at the gym, if you see friends, say a short hello and goodbye and get to work.

If friends want to constantly chitchat with you make sure to let them know that this workout is important you need to finish it because you are on a tight schedule. Let them know that you will meet up with them when you’re done. Don’t think your sound like a jerk by pushing her friends away, you pay the money to be there and made the time to be there, so get accomplished what you set out to accomplish. You will feel so much better about yourself knowing that you dedicated yourself 100% to the workout that you set out to do for the day.
