One of the first steps of getting and keeping your body in shape is, keep a training journal for real results. Whether you decide to find yourself a Texas gym, or work from home, always make sure to keep a detailed training journal. Keeping a journal will allow you to have a detailed log of each exercise you perform. writing_in_journal

With each exercise you should include reps, sets, and how much weight you are lifting. It’s not a bad idea to write down how you felt before, during, and after each session. In this journal you also want to write down any food or supplements you are taking before and after training. Keeping an exercise journal will allow you to instant information into your habits and this will allow you to detect specific areas of your training that you can change, or improve on.

The mistake often made by most people is to continue on a training course that simply does not work well. Just because one routine works well for one person, does not mean it will work well for you. It is a good idea to always switch up your training routines, then document each one of them into your journal. With all this information in your journal you will be able to stay mentally focused when training, and then you can look back on your training and see specific patterns are you maybe have succeeded and where maybe you have failed. This journal will not only let you know what to do, but what not to do. You will best succeed once you have figured out the areas of your training to avoid.
