Texas Gyms, Rest For Growth
The worst thing you can do while training, is overtrain your body. It is important to make sure that you rest for growth! It is important that you know that your muscles grow when you’re resting, not when you are training. It is how you treat your body after your workouts that is the real key to muscle growth.
If you do not let your muscles recover correctly, you will become an overtrained and your body will be constantly playing catch-up. This is not where you want to be! You want to make sure that your body is primed and ready for your next workout. Do this by getting enough rest and time to recuperate, this will fully optimize your training.
Remember it is important while in the gym do not overtrain your body, I cannot stress this enough. This will actually lead to your muscles breaking down and you may even experience the flu because of this. 45 minutes max, this is the amount of time that you want to train your body and resistance training sessions. Any longer than this and your body testosterone levels start to drop so it is just a waste of time. Instead of a long workout at a high intensity workout for those 45 minutes and you’re done.
A Jacuzzi or a sauna is a great way to relax your muscles and allow them to recover. If you do not have a Jacuzzi or a sauna home, make sure you run out and buy one right now because it is that important! Okay I’m just kidding but it’s nice if you have access to one. Remember rest is extremely important when training hard to take the time to recover.
